Supporting the vision for a future Arts & Cultural Centre that celebrates Dene language, culture, history, arts, healing, and community connection. This initiative explores the feasibility, design, programming, and long-term sustainability of a dedicated cultural gathering place that will preserve traditional knowledge while creating new opportunities for education, tourism, artistic expression, and economic development. Breaking the Silence
A community-led artistic storytelling initiative dedicated to creating safe, culturally respectful spaces where the children and grandchildren of Residential School Survivors can share their lived experiences through creative expression, oral history, photography, documentary development, writing, and community dialogue. Through the Breaking the Silence Listening Circle Tour, this initiative seeks to create opportunities for listening, healing, understanding, and preserving stories for future generations.
